To my friends that haven't heard from me in a while:

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't died/been kidnapped/run away to a country without internet. Things have been INSANE since the end of the quarter, and I'm trying desperately to keep up without drowning.

First, spring break was pretty decent...nice to see the family, although they did get annoying rather quickly (with the exception of my sister). We spent most of the week at a condo outside of Charleston, SC, which is a beautiful (albeit touristy) city. I got a tan and a million bug bites.

During my first week back in Spring Quarter, I got an e-mail asking if I'd like to start my R.A. position early. I was meant to start next fall (I mean, I'm only a freshman...freshman R.A.s are seriously unheard of...very strange). Anyway, I decided I wanted some income so I accepted. I moved out of my old room this week and into the new (HUGE) room, leaving my roomie Erin and the fish behind. I love my new room though, and I like my new roommate--she's never here, which is nice, and when she is, she's really sweet. I have started my R.A.-ing in some very small ways, and it doesn't seem too bad. It's keeping me SO busy though, which is to be expected. I've spent two nights in my new room and it feels like ages!

My classes this quarter are very challenging and they are also piling work upon me and keeping me on my toes. Sadly, I probably won't have much art this quarter. I know, I'm at art school = art all the time, right? Well, my two studio classes are Storyboarding and Intro to Advertising, so not a lot of fine art comes out of those. I will definitely post whatever I can though. I'm loving my Intro to Ad class, which is good, because it's my major. LOTS of work, but it's worth it.

There's lots more but I won't bore you any longer. I am looking forward to relaxing (at least a little) this weekend and getting around to some stuff I've been putting off. Yey! If I haven't heard from YOU in a while, let me know what you've been up to! I will try to post at least some sketches soon.
